A safe caring place for young people with disabilities to make friends, chill and have fun. We also help develop key skills to help them become more independent and confident to make their own decisions as they grow into young adults.
Sessions are held fortnightly and currently sessions are only running as Dinner Club (eating out at local restaurants). For young people aged 11-25 who have less complex needs and do not require a high staff ratio of support.
For more information or to book, contact Natalie, phone: 01227 367555 or Email: clubs@snaap.org.uk.
Due to generous donations from Morrison’s and The Hygiene Bank, as well as food surplus from Aldi, we are able to offer cupboard basics like soup, rice, pasta, baked beans and sauces as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. We also have toiletries and sanitary protection. We all need a helping hand from time to time so if a food parcel would help you and your family, we are happy to help, just contact us on 01227 367555/07842 127825.
Our support service is designed to help provide practical advice and the emotional support we all need from time to time. So, if there is something you are struggling with that is causing you concern, make an appointment to speak with our Family Support Worker, Sarah Selby-Bird. She is also available at our drop-in sessions at Whitstable Umbrella Café (held the first Thursday of every month 9.30-11.30, check our Facebook page for up-to-date info) and SNAAP-EY’s and Stay & Play.
During each school holiday we provide a range of activities for you to book onto. We use a booking system where you book and pay for activities online.
This link will also be emailed to all our families on our mailing list, as well as posted on our social media platforms.
