4/4/11 SNAAP fundraising site
I am very pleased to launch the fundraising site for SNAAP.
It will have all information about fundraising events and how you can help, but for now it will be dominated with the skydive event that we are organising!

10/12/10 SNAAP Quiz Night
SNAAP are running a quiz night in order to raise funds. We would greatly appreciate it if as many peeople as possible could attend.

As you may be aware, SNAAP clubs have not been able to run this week due to the bad weather conditions. We therefore feel this would be a good time to remind members of our severe weather policy!
11/2/10 Notice Board for SNAAP clubs
20/12/10 Winter Wonderland Cancellation
Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, external suppliers are unable to travel and make it to this event. We therefore had to make a decision to postpone both days.
We will be reorganising this event for the early part of Jan 2011 and those who have booked will receive an invitation with the new dates shortly.
19/12/10 Zoneout (youth club) Cancellation
Zoneout (youth club) is cancelled this Sunday (19/12/10)this is due to the bad weather conditions.

17/12/10 Office Closure for Christmas
The SNAAP office is now closed for the Christmas holiday. We will not be reopening the office until Monday 17th January due to staff training.
For queries about winter wonderland or to book to come to winter wonderland contact Hester on 07958 420 210 (a message can be left if this is turned off and Hester will call you back).

1/12/10 Winter Wonderland Deadline extension
Spaces still avaliable!
Due to complications with the post, we understand that some families have not received their booking form as promptly as we would have hoped. We are therefore going to extend the booking deadline to Friday 10th Dec. We must receive the booking form for you to secure a place, we can not take bookings via phone or email.
If you have not received a booking form, please contact Hester who will be able to send one to you.

The after school club at Windchimes will be cancelled this week (1/12/10) due to bad weather conditions.

23/11/10 Winter Wonderland
We will be transforming Windchimes into a magical winter wonderland for disabled children and their families. Activities include gingerbread decorating, arts & crafts, storytelling, ice rink, visits to Santa and much more!

April Fundraising - London Marathon
Ron Withers , a 60 year old man from Seasalter, has just run his 2nd Marathon in aid of SNAAP.
We would like to congratulate Ron in completing the marathon in 5 hours 30 minutes.
If you would like to support Ron and make a donation (no matter how big or small) please either donate online by clicking here or alternatively you can send a cheque (made payable to SNAAP) to SNAAP at the address below.

23/2/10 Wheelchair Tennis club (not run by SNAAP)
Wheelchair Tennis is now available at Polo Farm Indoor Tennis Centre, near Canterbury, Kent.
The Squad meet once a month, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m on a Sunday.
Dates for 2010 have been booked on;-
The Squad currently includes both manual and powered wheelchair users.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, whether you want to just play for fun, recreation or health, or go on to competition, why not come and join us.
There are 2 tennis sports wheelchair's now available at the Tennis Centre for people to use
Balls and small size rackets are also available, but you might like to bring your own adult size racket, if needed.

Fundraising, March 2009.
SNAAP are looking into ways of raising some funds to put towards days out and trips for 2009. Please contact the office to discuss any ideas that you have or ways that you can help.
Easter Holidays, March 2009.
The mail out containing SNAAP's Easter holiday activities have been posted, if you have not received them by Wednesday 11th March, please contact the office.
Cycle4SNAAP, March 2009.
Local sportsmen David Cory 28, (Whitstable Town) and Andy Hadden 21, (Ramsgate FC) will be departing on the 24th May 2009 to cycle from Whitstable Town FC to the Eiffel Tower, Paris via Calais and then back to Wembley stadium via Dieppe arriving on the 30th May 2009 (FA Cup Final Day). Their aim is to raise as much money as possible for ‘snaap’ and raise awareness of the charity throughout Kent. Please check the link on the home page for more details.

Sports club restarts on 9th January 2009. We have booked Canterbury Gymnastics club in to carry out some activites with us. We are hoping to have a variety of coaches attend at least every other session, please check here for announcements on what is booked in.
Christmas Closing Dates, Wed Dec 3 15:45:51 2008
The SNAAP office will close as from the Friday 19th December 2008 and due to staff training. We will reopen on Monday 12th January 2009. Club dates can be found in their individual headings on the left.
Youth Club renamed, Tue Dec 2 13:41:05 2008!
The first decision that the Youth Club Action Group made was to rename the youth club. They came up with the idea 'Zone Out'. This change will take place in the start of the new year. Those who are in the Youth Club Action Group will be known as the ZoneOut Action Group (aka ZAG)

SNAAP have recently set up a youth forum to help voice ideas and suggestions of all those who attend the youth club. This includes ideas on what activites we can provide at the club and where they would like to go on trips.

We have now moved our toy library to Saturdays in order to make it more accessible. Click here for upcoming dates!

25/1/11 Stay & Play Sessions
Windchimes are now holding stay and play sessions 4-6pm Wednesdays during term time. This group will have separate areas for babies and young people. The activities include cooking, craft, outside area, sensory room, soft play room and computer room. The children will also be offered a hot tea or you are welcome to bring packed lunch. Half Term
SNAAP had a very good half term this October. We extended our Youth group and ran for 4 highly successful days and fun was had by all. We hope to secure funding to continue this in future school holidays.
